BMA looks for a civil engineers with a BS or an MS in civil engineering, with a structural emphasis, to design temporary structures in support of the construction industry.  Such structures include falsework, shoring, rigging, and access trestles among others.  Must have a proficiency in two dimensional drawing in AutoCad.  Must have a PE, SE, or be qualified to sit for either exam.  Construction experience is preferred but not mandatory.  Must be proficient in MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.  Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to articulate an idea clearly and thoroughly.  To apply, please contact Brian Mapel at frontdesk@thebmacorp.com.

BMA looks for CAD Designers to augment our engineering operations.  We look for motivated individuals who are proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.  We require a minimum of 1 year experience with an engineering or architecture firm.  A CAD Designer at BMA will be working with engineers and clients to draft temporary works designs, generate layouts, and be part of the conceptual process of the designs that BMA generates.  Accuracy, consistency, and flexibility are critical components to this position as well as an ability to grasp learn new procedures and visualize solutions to our clients challenges.  We require work samples to be submitted as part of the interview process.  Experience with Adobe photoshop and color renderings and NavisWorks is preferred but not mandatory.  Ability to execute 3D drawings in AutoCad is mandatory.  CAD Designers will need to be able to work an 8 hour day at a computer, read and understand construction plans and specifications, perform basic algebra and mathematic functions, and perform area, volumetric, and lineal takeoffs.  To Apply, please contact Brian Mapel at frontdesk@thebmacorp.com.
